What is the Power of Possibility.
My observations and experiences with current intervention and support models have identified gaps in how we meet the needs of all children in educational settings often thwarting their development and potential.
Searching for possibility versus deficit it has become clear that an alternative model is needed that looks to embrace and nurture the uniqueness of every child. This pursuit has led me to develop a framework known as the Power of Possibility. This Montessori Based Support Model aims to revolutionize existing support models for children with diverse needs by restructuring how we approach their education and creating support ecosystems that honor the unique developmental and learning trajectories of each individual child.
Grounded in Montessori's foundational principles, the Power of Possibility framework is designed to guide the creation of environments, enhance understanding, and foster holistic development for all children following the pathway that Dr. Montessori has presented. Truly embracing the idea that Montessori education, in its purest form, is for ALL children.
What sets the Power of Possibility apart from other inclusion and support frameworks is its adherence to the principle that every child, irrespective of ability, circumstance, or exceptionality, can thrive within a high-fidelity Montessori environment following the guiding principles of Montessori education. Here lies the essence to support every child in their journey toward competence, autonomy, and relationship-building.

The Component of the Program
The Power of Possibility framework consists of three components that make up a Montessori Based support ecosystem. When working in partnership the three elements of the framework create pathways and opportunities for a child's educational setting to build their strengths and support them as they work to reach their fullest potential.
Power of PossibilityThis introduction component guides participants as they consider a different mindset when thinking about how we support children. Through this initial presentation, participant learn about how the "Power of Possibility," a Montessori-Based Support Model can be used to reimagine inclusion and meet the diverse needs of all children. Participants will reflect on the current meaning of "inclusion," challenge traditional models and practices, and discover alternative, strength-based strategies to create supportive learning communities for all children, regardless of ability, difference, or circumstance.
